Mirror TV technology is such an exciting innovation that it invites lots of questions…
One of the big questions we get asked most often is: how does the mirror screen affect the picture quality?
Let’s find out…
Our televisions are designed to act just like a mirror when the TV is OFF. The TV is totally invisible to the eye, so, to all intents and purposes, it really is a chic, stylish wall mirror; a mirror that you can use just like any other.
But switch on and the television screen appears within the mirror, showing a crisp, clear TV picture.
So how can the picture actually be seen within the mirror? Science tells us that a traditional mirror will reflect whatever’s in its path, so how do we get around that?
Here’s what we’ve done:
- Our Bathroom Mirror TVs incorporate a top of the range high-brightness Samsung LCD panel for a picture quality that is second to none.
- We use glass mirror screens, which gives a much clearer viewing experience when compared to acrylic based screens. Glass TV screens last longer too.
- The mirror we use is ever so slightly tinted which helps the LCD TV picture appear more vibrant through the mirror screen. But you can still use the mirror to apply your make-up, style your hair or shave.
We hope this helps you understand a little better how our Mirror Bathroom TVs work. By all means, let us know if you’ve got any more questions – or if you want to find out more about our Mirror TVs.
